Benefit - Roller Lash Review

Hi guys how are you going? I hope you had a great weekend! Today I will be sharing with you my review of the newest mascara by Benefit called Roller Lash (RRP $38.00, available from Myer on the 18th April 2015). This new 'super curling and lifting' mascara has a patent-pending hook design that positions, catches, lifts and curls lashes into a dream curl. It helps to open your eyes and the formula holds them in place for 12 hours. The brush design has a curved, thick side (perfect for upper lashes) and a straight thin side (perfect for bottom lashes). The packaging is gorgeous. Very cutesy and barbie like with the textured wand handle in bright pink.

I really looooove this mascara. When I first tried it I found it clumped up my lashes so much and gave me a thick, black spidery look but once the formula settled a bit and I figured out the best technique to apply it, it gave me such long curly lashes. I was actually very impressed as it looked like I was wearing false lashes! I had so many compliments when I wore this out. I've also found it can be a dual result mascara. When you use the curved, thick side on your upper lashes they are incredibly dramatic, but if you flip the brush  to the straight, thin side and use that on your upper lashes it gives you a more natural, everyday result which I preferred. Let's look at my results showing 1 coat on my upper and lower lash using the curved and straight sides respectively.

This is such a good little stocking filler and so cheap too! Innoxa is available from Myer and online here.

Benefit's Goodies A Go-Go (RRP $43 from Myer) is such a cute little make up pack with products to help give you a gorgeous smokey eye look. It contains 4 beautiful shadows, an eyeshadow primer and a mini sized version of the cult favourite They're Real mascara (which happens to be my favourite mascara of all time). This pack is perfect when stuck for ideas!

Tangle Teezer Compact Styler (RRP $34.95) I bought my first tangle teezer in 2009 and have never used a regular hair brush since. I love mine so much so when I saw this super cute Compact Styler in adorable bon bon packaging I knew I had to feature it. Tangle Teezers do not snag your hair or brush out any knots super easily. This will make a great gift for my female family members! Tangle Teezer is available from selected salons nationally. For the man in your life who likes to take care of themselves - this is the perfect gift by Paula's Choice. Current Favourites!

Hi guys! Today I have a post all about my current favourites, from nail polish to skincare, to hair care and make up! It's a mixture of things I've been using for over a month now and absolutely love them all! So here they are!

De Lorenzo Essential Treatments (et) - Absolute Deep Cleanser Shampoo, Protein Complex Treatment and Equilibrium Deep Repair Treatment (RRP $25.95, $28.95 and $28.95 respectively). I've been using these three products in conjunction with one another and it has definitely restored my hair to a healthy, shiny, bouncy mane! They contain organic rosehip oil (which I love!) and are all paraben free. The deep cleanser makes my hair feel so clean and fresh, the protein complex has definitely made my hair feel stronger and the deep repair treatment has made my hair feel softer than ever! Find these products at your nearist stockist or salon (which can be found here).

Vaseline Intensive Care Spray Moisturiser in Aloe Soothe (RRP$9.99 from Priceline) - I had to try this product. The one thing in life I cannot stand is when I apply moisturiser on my body and apply my clothes and it all just sticks and I feel so uncomfortable! Luckily this product does just as that advert shows - You can spray this on your body, rub it in, and literally 10 seconds later you have no residue left over and no grease either! I'm in love.

Dr.Hauschka Neem Nail Oil (RRP$47) - A big pump bottle of nail oil with Neem leaf extract to help strengthen keratin and fortifies nails against breakage. I've been using this religiously, before a manicure, right after a manicure, between swatches and on days I want more! It is such a great product and I can't stop using it! It has a lovely smell of chamomile and I have noticed my nails getting stronger for months since using this! Available for purchase online here.

I've raved about Benefit's Fake Up concealer before and it's back in my current favourite because I continue to use it every day and always have flawless results with it! Along with Fake Up, I've been adoring Erase Paste by Benefit too to tackle my under eye circles and any dark areas that need to be brightened up! Both super hydrating, natural looking and do not crease on me! (RRP$35 and $47, respectively). Benefit Cosmetics can be found in Myer.

My trusty and most favourite mascara in the whole world that gives me natural-but-better-and-free-from-clumps lashes! I cannot get enough of this Lush Mascara and ELES is quickly becoming one of my all time favourite beauty brands! (RRP $35.75). It is available to purchase online here. I also previously reviewed it on my blog here.

This nifty little MixStix by Chapstick is a really clever 2-in-1 product giving you two flavours to choose from, or to mix them up and make a smoothie! I love the flavour shown in particular, 1 side banana and 1 side strawberry. They taste so good together that I sometimes find myself licking my lips and having to reapply way too frequently! It moisturises for upto 8 hours! These retail for RRP $6.99 for a duo set (It came with another one with the flavour lemon berry sorbet) and can be found at Priceline and selected pharmacies nationally.

Formula 10.0.6 Rescue Me! Acne Blemish Treatment (RRP $7.99, available at Priceline). This product has been my saviour for so long now (including my trip to Europe) and I am so glad it has come into my life. It stops any pimple from becoming a big nasty puss filled spot (ew) and has actually helped reduce the appearance of my old blemishes! I can't live without this product and will continue to use it for as long as I keep getting pimples!

So there are my current favourites! I hope you liked this post and comment below which product you've tried or like to try next! Thanks for reading.

Benefit - Gimme Brow

Hi guys! Today I will be showing you the newest eyebrow product from Benefit called Gimme Brow* (RRP $32.00 in the shade medium/dark). The product actually builds micro fibres that adheres to skin and hairs to mimic the look of fuller, filled brows. It is really easy to apply with the wand as it is small enough, making it easy to perfect the arch. It goes on a gel and dries to a long wearing powdery finish. I tried this product on my eyebrows - but they aren't sparse enough for me to notice any results so I decided to use my mum for this blog post! Benefit is available from Myer!

Current Favourites.. + Benefit Cosmetics & Yankee Candle GIVEAWAY!!

Today I want to share with you a few of the things I've been using lately that I absolutely love.. plus a little giveaway for you!

Lanolips - Lemonaid Lip Aid* (RRP $15.99, available from Priceline, Myer and selected pharmacies)  - This stuff has been a savior for my dry lips, below my nose and chin. I absolutely adore smothering my mouth/chin region with lip balm (I look a bit funny when I do it, so I do it mostly at night...mostly!) and it has such a nice lemon smell and is seriously hydrating. It contains organic lemon oil to naturally exfoliate, leaving lips fresh, soft & moist. I swear by Lanolips and if you haven't tried any of their products then hop to it.. I guarantee you'll love it!

Yankee Candle - Sheer Gardenia "To Someone Special"* (RRP $19.99 and can be found in Hallmark stores nationally) - This candle smells sooo divine, like a fresh bouquet of gardenia flowers. This candle makes the whole room smell SO good. This 104g jar lasts for 25-30 hours, but knowing me I will burn it much quicker!

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula - Hydrating Gel Lotion (RRP $6.95 from selected pharmacies) - This stuff I bought when I was in desperate need of an anti-peel and soothing sunburn lotion. I got a really good tan and burnt slightly and really didn't want it to peel... luckily I did not peel one bit and I have to give kudos to this baby! It is a hydrating gel with aloe vera and cucumber extract that absorbs so quickly and does not leave you feeling sticky. I love that it's a gel because even if you keep it in your handbag it still cools you down and is ultra hydrating. I will definitely be purchasing numerous bottles this summer to keep me looking hydrated and brown!

One lucky winner will receive a limited edition Benefit Feelin' Dandy Kit and a White Chocolate & Mint flavoured "Thank You" Yankee Candle*! All you have to do is fill out the entry form below! *Open Internationally*

Benefit - Fake Up!

Enter my 500 follower giveaway here to win 7 nail polishes!!

Hi guys! This post is show casing my new favourite concealer and in this post I will tell you why! Fake Up by Benefit* was just released in Australia and is a revolutionary crease-control hydrating concealer. It is a really cool concept, a cylindrical product and on the outside is a thick layer of vitamin E & apple seed extracts (super nourishing and soft) and in the middle of the cylinder is the concealer. I got the colour in medium and find it's a perfect shade for me. I have quite tan skin, a little bit oily (from the rose hip oil I use as my moisturiser) but it doesn't leave me looking greasy or anything. I find it particularly good at hiding my dark under eye circles..woop! So, this is my new favourite concealer and I don't think I'll ever go back to regular concealer...it's just all too drying compared to this one! Here's some pics.

Can you see the moisturising border around the concealer? Oh yeah!

What do you think of this concealer? Will you give it ago! I highly recommend it! Thanks for reading and have a great weekend!

Benefit - Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation

Well hello there everyone! Today I have Benefit's highly regarded and talked about foundation to share with you today! Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation* (what a name right!) is a SPF25, brightening foundation with an oil-free formula. The colour I received is in Champagne ("Cheers to me") but I could of maybe gotten away with Honey as well (I wanted to be safe and be more pale than more orange if I chose the wrong colour). The coverage is great. I only used a small pea sized amount and it completely covered my whole face and neck area! I loved the way it made my face look, very highlighted whilst covering up any dark circles or blemishes I had. I did find it a little bit oily (ironically enough from the name) but that may have been because I use rose hip oil as my moisturiser every morning and night (even though I did apply this foundation on about 2 hours after I put my moisturiser on). It didn't feel cake-y, it felt like a tinted moisturiser and I really liked it. I tested the wear out and it lasted all day without moving or melting off my face which is great! This is a very loved product and I can see why! I also love that is has Vitamin C & E derivatives in it so I know that it's also repairing my skin as well as making it look more even. This is my new favourite foundation! What do you think of this foundation? Have you tried it yet!? Let me know below!

I like using this product. The wax is a really cool new product that i've never used before! I would of preferred darker brow colours as I feel like it makes them a shade lighter. All in all I really think I will be using this product every morning for my brows! Thanks for reading have a great day!
