Artsy Wednesday - White Nails

Hi guys!! A real quick one again tonight sorry as I've been busy working at my new job and tomorrow is my birthdayyyyyyyyy! Today's AW theme is white nails so I opted for a simple look - an Indie polish called Party On My Yacht (relevant for my bday tomorrow - but not on a yacht!) by Pretty & Polished (reviewed here). I used 2 coats of it and I used Sportsgirl - Bubblegum for the french tips - a super bright pink creme! I finished it off by using 1 coat of SV. Thanks for reading!

Artsy Wednesday - Vintage

Hellooo! It's AW time! This weeks theme is vintage nails! I was going to do a lace design but for some reason I couldn't get this design out of my head.. it's not wholly vintage but it definitely reminds me of characteristics of a vintage 50's dress or head piece. The colours I used are 2 coats of Sportsgirl - Tangerine (a very bright neon canteloupe colour) for the base, Orly - Liquid Vinyl* (black creme) and China Glaze - Blonde Bombshell (a gold glitter with different sizes). I sealed it all off with 1 coat of Wicked Fast. I did a sort of abstract funky french mani for this look. I hope you like it!

Check out these lovely ladies in this weeks AW!

Contrast French Tips Using OPI & Zoya

Hello again!! Today's look features *OPI - Eurso Euro (shown here) and Zoya - Phoebe (shown here). I decided to do contrasting french tips and I love the end results! I painted my nails with Zoya - Phoebe and waited for it to completely dry then I used some striping tape to outline the shape of my tips and painted it with *OPI - Eurso Euro. I finished it off by adding Wicked Fast to the tips only.

This look only lasted a few days. . . I had a bit of chipping on the tips quite quickly but I really liked the look while it lasted! What do you think of this? I love using striping tape for crisp, neat lines! Thanks for reading and see you all soon!!

Feminine French Tips

Hey guys!! It's Monday morning and it is a public holiday here, it is raining as well so the weather is not enjoyable for people with the day off. I really have to study hard this week as my first exam is on Thursday at 8am! Argh! Anyway, back on topic! I have a cute but simple manicure to show you today and I hope you like it! :)

I started off painting my nails with Cutex Ridge Filler (as I have just 1 finger that has some serious ridges. Can you spot it in the photo?) Then I got my circle stickers and covered my nail except my white tip so I could do a french tip. I painted all my fingers' french tips with OPI's - Rumple's Wiggin' and waited for that to dry. I was originally going to do a thin line just above the pastel purple with China Glaze - Midnight Kiss but my striping tape was annoying me and I couldn't find the beginning so I gave up and did dots instead! I think this combination is really cute and so simple to do! It is good if you want something a bit plain, but of course with an extra touch :)

I'm trying to get better at my dotting so you might be seeing a lot of them in the future!!

Thanks for reading and have a great week!
