First up, On Her Majesty's Secret Service; the most interesting mix of shimmers and micro glitters ever! It has a deep navy/purple base with a combination of red, silver, green, gold, blue micro shimmers. It is such an intense and interesting colour. It does best in 2 coats.
Secondly, The Living Daylights; a clear base jam packed full of silver, blue and apricot coloured hex glitters. Very densely packed. I used 1 coat here to show what it looks like, but this would look amazing in a jelly sandwich or over black.

I hope you've liked these swatches and hopefully other colour swatches appear soon for your viewing!! Have a nice day and thanks for reading :)

On Her Majesty's Secret Service, when I saw the promo bottles on Facebook,I knew this would look a bit like Zoya FeiFei,now I wonder which one I want, because I can tell their not complete dupes. That glitter is certainly original. The bottle shots were a little deceiving,as I was expecting another Happy Birthday dupe.Thank God for that. Nice swatches!
ReplyDeleteI just checked out the colours you named and feifei is pretty close, i'd have to see them in person, but it is soo gorgeous on the nails! I'm currently wearing on her majesty!
ReplyDeletethank you :)
Thanks for sharing these - how many coats is Golden Eye...?
ReplyDeleteOooh, soo pretty! I love Her Majesty..must have :) Can you swatch The Living Daylights over a black polish to see what it comes up like? Thanks :)
ReplyDeletePretty : ) I can't wait for more swatches
ReplyDeleteOh wooops I forgot to put that in the post. I used 2 coats for Golden Eye. Sorry Maria :)
ReplyDeleteYep I will do that very soon for you! Stay tuned Jas :)
ReplyDeletedone! If you look through the photos again, I added a swatch of the living daylights over black! Hope this helps :)
ReplyDeleteHow did you get these already? I thought the collection wasn't out until October??
ReplyDeleteA PR company sent them to me.
ReplyDeleteOn Her Majesty's Secret Service looks insane! :)

On Her Majesty's Secret Service is really beautiful!! And I also love golden eye. such warm gold are quite unusual and all those flecks are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteUmmm - I am liking the non glitter shades better out of this collection...but OHMSS is pretty - just not been wearing dense glitters...I have a ton of em and get tired really fast with them on and want to change which is a pain as we all know since glitters are so hard to get off.
ReplyDeleteOh and forgot to add - Golden Eye is the one that I have seen that looks like the Zoya gold 18Kt - that when used thin comes up over another polish like flecks of gold leaf. I had not seen any other photos of it like yours where it's put on thick alone. So curious if Golden Eye has a gritty finish - looks like it does. I had hoped when used thin over another shade it would lay flat and with a clear topper be nice and smooth. Love to hear your input on how it responds over another shade.
ReplyDeleteSo which is the real name for this collection??? Skyfall or Bond 007 - or are both correct?
ReplyDeleteAlso, Golden Eye was very thick and opaque in 1 coat which probably wouldn't look that great over a black (as it would cover most of it) I will test it out though and let you know.
ReplyDeleteyou should try using the PVA glue method when wearing glitters.
ReplyDeleteHere's a good link explaining this: http://www.prettypurplepolish.com/2012/08/pva-glue-base-coat-questions-and-wear.html
OPI Skyfall Collection, but there are many other blogs using both!
ReplyDeleteHOly moly! I think Her Majesty's Secret Service is a dupe for my beloved Chaos by Estee Lauder. I own that and Fei fei Zoya and the two are not dupes- Zoya is much bluer. This could be my backup bottle for Chaos. So lovely!
ReplyDeletebeachgal - The polish you're thinking of is The Man With the Golden Gun, not Golden Eye. Golden Eye is the microglitter/flake pictured above, while The Man With the Golden Gun is OPI's 18k gold flake top coat. It's also part of the Skyfall collection but will retail at $30; the other polishes in the collection, including Golden Eye, will be priced at OPI's usual $8.50.
