MAC Velvetease Lip Pencil - Lover's Lane
Hi everyone! I hope you are all well. Today I thought I'd share with you all this gorgeous Velvetease Lip Pencil by MAC in the shade called Lover's Lane; a bright medium-dark orange with red undertones. I've been wanting to find a NARS lip crayon alternative and I think i've found one! This pencil has a super creamy formula that applies like a dream and dries to a slightly matte finish. I wore this for 4 hours and it lasted really well and hardly any lipstick transferred at all! Velvetease Lip Pencils retail for £17.50 and are available online here. I can't wait to try more shades!

Retro mattes apply like a dream and last even better (check out my previous blog post on other shades here). Have you tried any of these yet?

MAC - Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour Swatches
Hi guys! It's been a while. I must find the motivation to blog more often but I'm just so tired when coming home from work. I have lots of new goodies to review for you though but today I am showing you the brand new Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolours by MAC. There are tons of shades but I only have 2 (so far). The two colours I'll be showing you are Too Matte With Love; a beautiful bright raspberry and Rich & Restless; A midtone pinky salmon. The formula on these are really good. They're easy to apply, completely opaque (although some of the darker shades look like they need a bit of playing around with application) and dry to a completely matte finish. In terms of longevity, they don't last as well as Velvetines (only matte liquid lipsticks I've tried so far). After about 4-5 hours they start feathering from the inner lip area. Overall this is a super exciting product from MAC and I'm glad they finally released their take on the liquid lipstick. They have some really exciting shades too so be sure to have a look online or at your nearest counter. MAC - Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolours retail for £21.00 (available online here).

MAC - Please Me Lipstick + Extended Play Lash Mascara Review
Hi lovely people! I have two new MAC products to share with you that I recently picked up! The first being the Extended Play Lash Mascara in the shade Endlessly Black (RRP £15.00) and a Limited Edition packaged lipstick called Please Me which is a stunning muted-rosy-tinted pink matte shade (RRP £15.50). There is nothing negative I can say about these two products. MAC is always reliable and their quality never falters. The lipstick is super creamy and pigmented and the mascara is my new favourite everyday mascara for subtle, groomed lashes. It is definitely buildable for a more dramatic look too! Here's a look at some photos.

Estee Lauder Pure Colour Matte Envy - Furious (LE)
Hi guys!! Hope you are having a great week so far! Today I am sharing a new and Limited Edition Pure Colour Matte Envy shade by Estee Lauder to show you called Furious; an absolutely stunning medium coral-orange matte. I was really drawn to this colour everytime I walked past the Estee Lauder counter in Myer and knew I had to have it! It applies effortlessly, is super smooth and creamy and not drying at all. It is actually quite a neon colour against my olive skintone which I love! I applied 1 coat all over the lips. Pure Colour Envy Matte retails for $50 and is available from Myer and David Jones nationally, but be quick as this colour is limited!

L'Oreal Collection Exclusive The Reds
Hi guys! How are you? Sorry for the lack of posts. I've been so busy lately! I have some exciting news to share with you soon - but for now I want to show you the limited edition L'Oreal Collection Exclusive Color Riche 'Reds' collection. I'm missing 1 red nail polish (the Doutzen shade). The lipsticks are far more interesting in shades than the nail polishes and the quality is really great on the lipsticks! I had a few issues with the nail polishes; the nail colours didn't really match their corresponding lipstick shade very well and the brushes are cut unevenly which made it hard to paint a perfect shape around the cuticle. The lipsticks retail for $21.95 and the nail polish retail for $7.95 and are available from Priceline. Here's a look at the shades!
Doutzen Shade Number 8 Pure Fire - A bright red-orange
Eva Shade Number 9 Pure Brick - A dark orange-red.
Freida Shade Number 19 Pure Amaranthe - A stunning bright pinky-red. This lipstick is my absolute favourite colour from the red collection.
The corresponding nail polish does not do the lipstick colour justice at all. The nail polish is more like a Christmas shimmery red.
Jlo Shade Number 11 Pure Rouge - A very true classic red.
Blake Shade Number 15 Pure Ruby - A slightly darker true red.
Laetitia Shade Number 14 Pure Garnet - A deep mulberry colour.
Thanks a lot for reading and I hope you find this post interesting!

Red Earth - CC Cream & Lipstick Review
Hi all! Hope you are having a great week so far. Today I have two Red Earth products to share with you; the Colour Correcting Light Perfecting Cream in the shade 03 Tan (RRP $35.00) and a Pure Colour Pigment Rich Lipstick in the shade 20 Red Wine (RRP $24.00).
I really like this CC cream as it's lightweight and evenly corrects and hydrates your skin. It covers any redness you have and leaves you with a flawless finish. The only downside is that it doesn't photograph the best. It doesn't say it contains SPF in it or not, so I assume it doesn't, so I'm confused as to why it leaves a white cast on my face in flash photography? Anyone know how that happens?

As
for the lipstick, it's a beautiful deep red wine that you can dab on
for a flush of colour or apply regularly and have a gorgeous creamy deep
colour on your lips. I think this colour suits my skintone perfectly.
It is really hydrating too! I'm in love with this colour and will be wearing it a lot this winter!

Current Favourites
Hi guys! Today I have a new Current Favourites post to share with you. It has been a while since I last posted one so let's jump right in!
Trilogy - Everything balm. The name of this balm is very relevant as I use this for everything. Lip balm, hand cream, foot cream/heel balm, cuticle moisturiser, eyebrow tamer, eyelid glosser, to treat my mild dermatitis on 1 finger (which has completely healed!), on pimples, on my elbows and knees when they look super dry and sometimes on the ends of my hair. Sometimes the man will let me put this through his moustache to tame them! I love the multi-use of this product but for me, it is the best lip balm I've tried! Great job Trilogy! (RRP $18.99, available from Priceline and selected pharmacies nationwide).
So…? Eternal is a scent containing
top notes of pink pepper and a hint of lemon and clementine,
which lead into middle notes of orchid, pink peony and violet.
Encapsulated with amber, vanilla and sandalwood. I love how small and slender this perfume is - perfect for throwing in your handbag or gym bag on the go! I spritz it all over like crazy as it's super fresh and light!
(RRP $14.95 for 30ml, available from Priceline, Big W, Target and selected pharmacies nationwide).
Kevin.Murphy - Young Again Collection. I love Kevin.Murphy. Is there more I need to say? Their products are consistently of such high standards and deliver excellent results, everytime. My hair has never felt softer, looked shinier or younger, and has never finished air drying with a beautiful natural wave to it until using this trio! Oh, also this product smells like vanilla cupcake frosting with hints of salted caramel too! Heaven if you ask me! I highly recommend Kevin.Murphy to anyone who wants to indulge their hair with some TLC. (RRP $36.95, $37.95 and 49.95, respectively from the image below. Kevin.Murphy is available from
www.kevinmurphy.com.au or call 1800 104 204 for stockists)
Puretopia -Essential Facial Serum, Face Scrub and Body Polish. I have been loving testing these products out. The face scrub effectively removes any makeup and dead skin cells to reveal smooth, glowing skin. It has small microbeads in it that gently exfoliate your skin. After exfoliating my face, I then move on to using the Body Polish which is a much coarser exfoliant to really help get dead skin cells off and get your skin glowing. I love this body polish as it leaves my skin feeling super soft and the smell reminds me of coke bottles (the gummy lollies)! It's really risky having such delicious food-smelling beauty products in your shower - it just makes me crave sugar afterwards lol. After my shower, I gently massage the facial serum all over my face in circular motions. It is the coolest product with the tip having 3 small metal roller balls all over it to promote circulation in your face (which can help your skin heal quicker from blemishes, scars or uneven skintone). My hormones have been out of balance lately and these 3 products have helped my skin get back on track much quicker! (RRP $19.95, $9.95, and $14.95 respectively. Available from Terry White, Priceline, and Big W).
Innoxa - Full Colour Lip Cream. These beauties are full colour lipstick and gloss in 1 that contain antioxidants to help keep your lips feeling moisturised. It is not sticky at all and the colour pay off is so intense! I'm loving these darker colours for the cooler months. The colours here are Wine & Dine; a beautiful brown toned vampy red and Red Rose; a stunning bright red with slight brown undertones. (RRP $14.95, available on counters from the 24th of April from Myer, Priceline and selected pharmacies nationally).
