L'Oreal Collection Exclusive The Reds

Hi guys! How are you? Sorry for the lack of posts. I've been so busy lately! I have some exciting news to share with you soon - but for now I want to show you the limited edition L'Oreal Collection Exclusive Color Riche 'Reds' collection. I'm missing 1 red nail polish (the Doutzen shade). The lipsticks are far more interesting in shades than the nail polishes and the quality is really great on the lipsticks! I had a few issues with the nail polishes; the nail colours didn't really match their corresponding lipstick shade very well and the brushes are cut unevenly which made it hard to paint a perfect shape around the cuticle. The lipsticks retail for $21.95 and the nail polish retail for $7.95 and are available from Priceline. Here's a look at the shades!

Doutzen Shade Number 8 Pure Fire - A bright red-orange

Eva Shade Number 9 Pure Brick - A dark orange-red.

Freida Shade Number 19 Pure Amaranthe - A stunning bright pinky-red. This lipstick is my absolute favourite colour from the red collection.

The corresponding nail polish does not do the lipstick colour justice at all. The nail polish is more like a Christmas shimmery red.

Jlo Shade Number 11 Pure Rouge - A very true classic red.

Blake Shade Number 15 Pure Ruby - A slightly darker true red.

Laetitia Shade Number 14 Pure Garnet - A deep mulberry colour.

Thanks a lot for reading and I hope you find this post interesting!

June Favourites!

Hi guys!! Today I have my June favourites to share with you! Lets jump right in to it!

KEVIN.MURPHY Balancing Wash (RRP $34.95, available online at adorebeauty) - This daily shampoo is perfect for me. I exercise at least 5 days a week and worry about my hair being constantly washed but I have found a shampoo gentle enough for daily use. This does a really great job at gently but effectively cleaning your hair, and it's boyfriend approved!

Charles Worthington Mineral Hair Rescue Masque (RRP $15.99, available exclusively from Priceline) - I LOVE this hair masque and am so sad that I'm all out of it. It is an amazing treatment for your hair where you actually notice a difference after the first use, and it is the first hair product I've ever used (shampoo's and conditioners included) that actually leaves a scent on my hair! This is a very good thing as I used to get jealous of other girls with beautiful smelling hair (kinda sounds creepy I guess) but now I'm one of them! I'm off to buy a back up!!

Molton Brown - Ylang Ylang Single Wick Candle (RRP $85.00, available from David Jones) - This candle smells absolutely amazing burning or just sitting in your room. I'm in love with Molton Brown candles - they are definitely worth the splurge!

L'Oreal - Miss Manga Mega Volume Mascara in the shade Black (RRP $21.95, available from Priceline) - This mascara made waves throughout the blogging/youtuber world and I can see why. It has a super flexible brush with a tapered end that coats your lashes really well and makes it easy to get right into the inner corner and on the lower lashes too. I really loved the way it made my eyes look!

Lanolips 101 Ointment in Apple (RRP $13.95, available exclusively from Mecca Maxima) - I actually hadn't used my original lanolips 101 ointment in so long so was so happy to rekindle my love again but this time in an amazing apple flavour! It contains added Vitamin E and is perfect for chapped lips and dry cuticles (my 2 most used areas).

Thanks for reading! See you next time.

L'Oreal - Dark Side of Grey Collection

Hey everyone! I hope you are having a fabulous week and ready to have a great weekend! Today I will be showing you the L'Oreal Dark Sides of Grey collection. It seems grey is having a big comeback with nail polish which is great for me as my collection of greys were quite small! This collection includes 6 polishes; 2 mattes, 1 liquid sand and 2 textured glitters. I used 2 coats for each swatch shown below and had no difficulty with the formula or application. L'Oreal polishes retail for $7.95 from Priceline. Let's take a look at the collection!

Aux Chandelles - A beautiful light grey cement creme. My favourite from the collection!

Do Not Disturb - A gunmetal shimmery metallic. This sparkles so beautifully!

Mademoiselle Grey - This is a darker blue/grey. My photos make it look a bit too dark.

Secret Wish - A gunmetal iron metallic. When I applied this polish I thought it was a bad batch because suddenly all these bubbles appear. It wasn't until I looked online at other swatches that I realised that was the intended effect. This is a big no go for me!

Totally D'Accord  - A dark navy base with gunmetal/blue glitters in it.

Which one is your favourite? Mine are Do Not Disturb and Aux Chandelles! Thanks for reading!

L'Oreal New Eye Products for 2013

Hi everyone! Today I have a few new eye products from L'Oreal to show you! These products will be available from August - October and can be found at your local department stores! Here's a look at the products I'm showing you!

L'Oreal Excess Volume Million Lashes* - A mascara that gives definition and volume. It has a new technology within the barrel so that when the brush is pulled out it doesn't keep excess mascara on the wand so you can avoid excess clumping! I really like the silicon brush but found it did give me spidery/clumped eyelashes which aren't really my thing!

L'Oreal Super Liner Black Buster* - A super thick and chunky black eyeliner. This isn't that great to use to line your upper lid to do wings because of the thick tip it doesn't allow for crisp lines but its great to do just above your lash line and add to a smokey eye look.

L'Oreal Super Liner Perfect Slim* - The liner is 0.1mm wide and it is amazing! It honestly makes wings such an easy job and I couldn't do a good one before trying this product! It's a very dark black and last really well. I can't wait to do more cat eyes and 60s/70s looks with this! Best eyeliner product ever!

L'Oreal Super Liner Silkissime in Seductive Black* and Brown Temptation* - A super creamy, super long lasting eyeliner. This glides on like a breeze but doesn't work so well when lining the waterline. The staying power on these are unbelievable! It acts as a waterproof products which is great around the eyes!

Here's a look I did with the mascara, blackbuster along the upper lid, perfect slim liner for the wing and the seductive black silkissime liner on my upper waterline. It looked really nice!

And here's a staying power test I did with all the liners!
From L - R: Silkissime Super Liner in Seductive Black, Brown Temptation, Super Liner Perfect Slim and Super Liner Black Buster
Removal: with water
Removal: with makeup remover
The staying power on the Sikissime Liners are really impressive! This mark you see was still here the next day after sleeping for 8 hours! I'm really impressed - but boy it's hard to remove!

I really like these new products from L'Oreal but my favourite is definitely the Superliner in Perfect Slim - it makes doing a winged look so easy and effortless!

L'oreal Nude Magique BB Cream

Hi guys! Sorry for the lack of posts. . . working in retail over Christmas is mayhem. Not only on my tired feet, but also on my nails..eek! Today I went a little crazy at Myer and bought a couple of new make up and nail goodies. First up I will show you this amazing new BB cream by L'oreal. It is originally priced at $26.95 but Myer has 40% off of L'oreal at the moment so it came down to only $16.17. The bottle says it mimics the texture and glow of perfect bare skin with the added bonus of an SPF12. I'm in love with this little bottle of heaven. BB creams are definitely the new craze! I only used  a small pea sized amount and my hand looks flawless right now as I type this. It has a nice sunscreen scent which I like. The formula on it is a white base with tiny dark specks running through it. It is a little gritty when you rub it in, but that is when the magic happens and it transforms into your perfect skin colour, without any gritty, greasy feeling.

I only bought this a few hours ago and am loving it a lot! Do you have a favourite BB cream? I think this is my new favourite one now! Thanks for reading and have a great day.
