Blue Bash Glitter Sandwich

Ok, technically this is an open sandwich, but the same effect was achieved! For this look I used 2 coats of China Glaze - Ride The Waves, a rich navy blue jelly and then applied 1 thick coat of Jordana - Blue Bash, densely packed blue glitters. I used 2 coats of wicked fast topcoat as it was very gritty! This colour was very striking and made my nails sparkle like crazy in the sunlight!

Hope you like this one guys! Have a great day :)

Glitter Sandwich

Hi folks! Sorry I haven't blogged in a week but I am frantically studying for my Zoology exam on Tuesday and i'm still far from ready so this is a quickie! I went to Kmart the other day and saw they had a brand called BC Co. There was some really nice colours and for only $2 it was a bargain so I bought a really lovely neon mint ice cream colour. It was quite sheer so I applied 2 thick coats followed by 1 coat of Cult Nails - Wicked Fast. Then I used Jordana glitters; Magenta magic and Blue bash and applied 1 coat of each followed by 1 coat of OPI - Care to Danse, followed by another coat of wicked fast, et voila!

Sorry this is a quick post today, after Tuesday things will die down and I can post more :-) Have a great week.

Artsy Wednesday - Framed Nails

Hi all!! Today's Artsy Wednesday theme is framed nails...and this is pretty much just adding a line around the outside of your nail to frame it. Today's look featured my current mani, which was Ozotic 506 (seen here). It was too gorgeous too take off, and almost too gorgeous to add anything to it! I was stuck for ideas on what colour border to add, so I added a glitter! This glitter I used is a Jordana Nail Art Striper in the colour The Designer, which is a dense glitter with silver, blue, red and gold glitters. It looked amazing in person, so sparkly and subtle at the same time! I loved it!

Don't forget to check out the other lovely ladies who are participating in this week's theme!!

China Glaze - Ride The Waves + Jordana - Copper Blaze Glitter

Hey guys, I was going to do a jelly sandwich with ride the waves because it is the most perfect and squishiest looking royal blue jelly i've seen, but when I added the glitter, I liked it so much the way it was, I left it. I always find myself struggling to decide on a final look for my nails but I stuck with my guns! I used 2 coats of China Glaze - Ride the waves, 1 coat of Jordana - Copper Blaze, a gorgeous copper glitter with large hex, small glitters, with a slight copper tinge to the solution, followed by 1 coat of Cult Nails - Wicked Fast.

I hope you like this combo! I love when opposite colours pop and really make your nails unique and interesting! Thanks for reading. Have a great day/night.

Jordana Jelly Sandwiches + Sneak Peak of 007 Collection

Hi guysssssssss! Today I have for you an experiment of jelly sandwiches. I bought a heap of Jordana glitters in a post you can read here. For this look today I used two colours; Celestial; an aqua packed glitter and Bronze Fest; as the name suggest, bronze glitter. I firstly started with 2 coats of OPI - Don't Touch My Tutu, the perfect sheer white jelly, followed by 1 coat of bronze fest on my ring finger and pinkie, and 1 coat of celestial on the other fingers, followed by 1 thin coat of OPI - DTMT. I don't think Celestial looks good as a jelly sandwich, or I might have to try with a different colour, like Ride the Waves or Guy Meets Gal-Veston. All finished off with 1 coat of Cult Nails - Wicked Fast.

Andddddddd i'm sure you've been waiting to see this. . . a sneak peak colour palette of the new 007 Collection, this is so much better to see what the colours look like in real life! I'm still really excited!

Thanks for reading lovelies! Have a great day :-)

Refreshed A-England Mani

A few days ago you may have seen I posted about A-England - Iseult, I got a little bored so I decided to apply A-England - Morgan Le Fay, which is a gorgeous sheer white glitter over the top! Then for a bit of fun I added 1 coat of Jordana - My Superstar, a gorgeous glitter mix of red, silver, gold and blue of different sizes on my ring finger!

I really like this "refreshed" mani, the glitter looks so gorgeous over the shimmery white! This could be a perfect wedding mani! It's great how different your nails can look by adding special effects or glitter! What do you think of this!? Thanks for reading :)

Sation - Oh My Oceania + Glitter Accent Nail

Hi everyone! Tonight I am going to a party at a club and the theme is "Dressed To The Nines". I have my whole outfit planned out (A gorgeous black dress) and I needed nails to pop against the black so I chose Sation's - Oh My Oceania, a stunning aqua/teal polish with really subtle blue micro shimmers that dries to a satin-matte finish. I love that sort of finish but I did use 1 coat of Cult Nails - Wicked Fast to seal it. I used 2 coats of OMO, followed by 2 coats of Jordana - Blue Bash on my ring fingers, followed by 1 coat of Cult Nails - Wicked Fast. I love doing glitter accents, have you noticed :-P
Here are photos!

I hope you like this colour, I am LOVING Sation, it is a great brand and the formula/brush/bottle is great! Thanks for reading and have a great night!

Jordana Glitter Collection Swatches

Hey everyone! You may have seen in an earlier post I showed my Jordana Glitter Haul from beautyjoint.com (view it here). In that post I showed you Jordana - Carnival and Jordana - Sequins. I will be showing you the rest of the haul I bought in this post. Each photo being shown is just a look at each glitter on their own with 1 coat applied (unless otherwise stated). (and they are super cheap too!).

Celestial - a stunning aqua/green/turqouise glitter packed with heaps of microglitter and circle glitters suspended in a clear base.
