Artsy Wednesday - Metallic

Hi guys!! Another AW post this week! Today's theme is metallic so I chose for some stamping! I used 2 coats of Models Own - Champagne and 1 coat of Ozotic - 186 for the stamping. It's just a random stamping plate I bought from ebay. I really need some good stamping polishes because the blue didn't show up properly! Ah well it still had a cool effect from a far! I finished it off with 1 coat of SV.

Artsy Wednesday - Green

Hey guys!! Todays' AW theme is GREEN! I love green so was excited to think of a mani to do when I came across this awesome water marble technique by Spektor's Nails here. The colours I used were  2 coats of Orly - Pointe Blanche* and a few drips of Ozotic - 120 (reviewed here) followed by 1 coat of SV. I know this mani doesn't look like it's green, but because Ozotic 120 was thinned out by so much white polish it turned a really pretty dark ocean blue with subtle green shimmers in the thicker areas. This technique is really easy to do but a tad messy to make sure to tape up around the cuticles to save time and product!

Check out these awesome girls and their mani for this week's AW!

Fireworks Nails!

Enter my current $50AUD gift voucher giveaway here!

Hi loves! Today I have a striping tape design to show you. First off I started by applying a thin coat of PVA glue as my base coat as I used a very dense glitter (and PVA is by far the best removal method!) I used 2 thick coats of Ozotic 213 (reviewed here) it's such a lovely glitter that is very sparkly in the sunlight. I applied 1 coat of Wicked Fast to get it to try quickly so I could lay down some striping tape onto my nails. I was really making up the design as I went along and I ended up having a design that reminded me of fireworks. I used 1 thick coat of Essie - Lights which is a purple-pink creme and finished it all off with Wicked Fast.

I'm pretty annoyed at myself because I broke the nail on my pinky and it is so short now! Ah well these things happen! anyway, Thanks for reading everyone! See you all soon!

Ozotic - 621 (Red Holo!)

Hi loves! Yesterday I bought 2 amazingly GORGEOUS Ozotic polishes but today I am only showing you 1 (the next one is coming soon!) This colour, Ozotic - 621 is a deep rich red creme with such an intrinsic and complex mix of glowing red flecks and scattered holographic pigments. It is truly so amazing IRL, it reminds me of Dorothy's red shoes from the Wizard of Oz. . .but shinier! I used 3 coats as it was a little patchy, followed by 1 coat of Wicked Fast.

Do you own this colour? It's so pretty :) Thanks for reading!

Artsy Wednesday - Framed Nails

Hi all!! Today's Artsy Wednesday theme is framed nails...and this is pretty much just adding a line around the outside of your nail to frame it. Today's look featured my current mani, which was Ozotic 506 (seen here). It was too gorgeous too take off, and almost too gorgeous to add anything to it! I was stuck for ideas on what colour border to add, so I added a glitter! This glitter I used is a Jordana Nail Art Striper in the colour The Designer, which is a dense glitter with silver, blue, red and gold glitters. It looked amazing in person, so sparkly and subtle at the same time! I loved it!

NOTD: Ozotic 506

Hey guys!! I've bet you've all seen many swatches of 506 (or 505), if you haven't at all seen swatches, you are in for a treat! This beauty is a real gem. It is such an intrinsic multi chromatic polish! On the nails it looks like a dark blue with purple/magenta undertones, but it has more! Under certain lights and angles it also shines a gold and burnt orange colour. It is so pretty! I applied 1 coat of China Glaze - First & Last, 1 coat of OPI - Black Onyx, 1 coat of Ozotic - 506 and 1 coat of Cult Nails - Wicked Fast. I'll let the photos do the talking!

This is a magical polish and I can't believe it took me so long to try it out!! Thanks for reading and I hope you like! :)

Ozotic - 515 HOLOGRAPHIC HEAVY

Happy Monday morning to you all! I know it means the beginning of another work week but I have a wonderful nail polish to show you, that may just make your morning :) I know this polish swatch is long over due, but better late than never! Ozotic 515 is such a beautiful ocean blue with seriously strong holographic pigments. This is the colour that i'm giving away in my giveaway (a new, unused one obviously) and it's going to make the owner very happy!

So i applied 3 coats to bare nails for full coverage. 2 was probably enough but i went for 3 coats just to make it an even coverage.

This colour is so much stronger in person and applied beautifully! Such a great colour. I love Ozotics

There is still time to enter my giveaway for a chance to win this colour!

Thanks for reading :)

Ozotic 213 + Ozotic 115 Accent Nail

I am loooooving Ozotics at the moment! They make some gorgeous glitters and duochromes! Today I have for you Ozotic 213, a black base with silver micro glitter and Ozotic 115, a blue base with blue micro glitter, love them both! So I applied 2 coats of Ozotic 213 over each nail except the ring fingers, and applied 4 coats of Ozotic 115 on the remaining fingers. I should have definitely layered 115 over another colour because it took way to many coats to become opaque.
Here are some photos!

Gorgeous macro shot! Mmmmm

What do you think of these glitters? They were really hard to remove which SUCKS! But nothing like the ol' foil method and no problems!

Ozotic - 513 HOLOGRAPHIC HEAVY

Hello everyone how are you all? I am very good and today I have a real beauty to show you. . are you ready? :-P

Today's colour is Ozotic 513, a dark pink/purple with seriously amazing linear holographic particles in it! I've been meaning to try this colour for a while now and i'm seriously glad I did! One thing that really annoys me is how top coats dull holographic polishes. Does anyone know of a quick dry top coat that doesn't dull holographics?

Anyway these photos are posted without a top coat so i'll let you leave your opinion on this colour!

Look at these beauts! Sorry but there are a LOT of photos!

So what are your thoughts? Do you like this colour? What's your favourite holographic colour? :)
