Hi guys! I hope you have all been well! Are you looking forward to the end of Winter and the beginning of Spring? Someone told me that when Daffodils start blooming in London it's a sign that Spring is almost upon us - and I can't wait (and a pleasant surprise to see so many daffodils blooming all over London as they're my favourite flowers!). Today I have a simple swatch of a colour that caught my eye in Superdrug by Barry M called Chai; a beautiful mid toned grey with blue undertones. I applied 2 easy coats with a fast drying topcoat (HK Girl Glisten & Glow). A perfect match for today's dreary grey sky. What are you all up to this weekend?

OPI - Funny Bunny
Hi guys! Today I have OPI - Funny Bunny* to show you. This colour is a sheer white jelly. Think Essie - Marshmallow really! It is quite opaque on 2 coats for a sheer white. I love this clean, fresh and simple look, it gives my hands a nice refreshing look and very chic too! I finished it off with 1 coat of Wicked Fast.
Thanks for reading! Have a nice day and I'll speak to you all again soon! (After I finish this bloody assignments!)

China Glaze - Ride The Waves + Jordana - Copper Blaze Glitter
Hey guys, I was going to do a jelly sandwich with ride the waves because it is the most perfect and squishiest looking royal blue jelly i've seen, but when I added the glitter, I liked it so much the way it was, I left it. I always find myself struggling to decide on a final look for my nails but I stuck with my guns! I used 2 coats of China Glaze - Ride the waves, 1 coat of Jordana - Copper Blaze, a gorgeous copper glitter with large hex, small glitters, with a slight copper tinge to the solution, followed by 1 coat of Cult Nails - Wicked Fast.
I hope you like this combo! I love when opposite colours pop and really make your nails unique and interesting! Thanks for reading. Have a great day/night.

Artsy Wednesday - Matte & Shiny
Hi lovelies! Today's Artsy Wednesday theme is Matte & Shiny nails! I didn't want to go for the popular shiny black with matte tip look, but now i'm thinking I probably should have as mine didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped for! I opted for a bit of an experimental side for this and chose two jellies to work with; China Glaze - Ride The Waves (from the new Neon 2012 Collection, swatched here) and OPI - Guy Meets Gal-Veston, a coral-orange jelly from the Texas Collection. I alternated fingers. I applied 2 coats of each on every finger and 1 coat of Essie's - Matte About You on every finger except my ring finger as an accent nail.
