OPI - Plugged In Plum

Hey guys! Just a quickie today :-) Plugged In Plum by OPI, is probably one of the very first OPI polishes I bought and I still love it as much as I do back then. It is just the perfect plum colour and the formula was easy to use, needing only 1 coat for each nail! I could have done a second coat, but with this colour, and also other colours, the first coat and the second coat can change the colour of the polish a bit, especially with purples, or very dark colours that have a green, purple or blue base. So here is PIP, 1 coat of China Glaze - First & Last, 1 coat of PIP and 1 coat of Cult Nails Wicked Fast.

I wish plums were in season. . I LOVE THEM! :-) Thanks for reading and have a great day/night!

Milani - Beach Front + A Cute As A Button Love Heart

Hello :-) Today's post features a Milani colour I received when I did a swap with a very generous lady, Jasmine from colourcoated. Milani - Beach front is a really pretty light blue with silver micro glitter through out it. It has a great formula and is fully opaque in 1 coat but I  did 2 just to cover any unevenness. I applied 1 coat of China Glaze - First & Last, 2 coats of Beach Front and 1 coat of Cult Nails - Wicked Fast. I painted a cute little love heart on my ring finger using Essie - Cute As A Button, my favourite coral creme yet! I hope you like this cute mani :)

Do you own this colour? Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed this!

Artsy Wednesday - Fishtail Nails

It's Artsy Wednesday time again! I'm super excited to show you my attempt at this week's challenge, fish tail nails! Just like a regular fishtail braid in your hair, but on your nails, sort of a weaving braid look. For this challenge I used 3 colours; Revlon - Metallic, a metallic silver shimmer, China Glaze - Loves A Beach, a perfect pink neon and China Glaze - For Audrey, a perfect tiffany blue. You can find a really great tutorial for it by CutePolish here. I did 2 coats of Revlon - Metallic, and 1 coat of the china glazes. Here is my attempt!

I really loved this design, it's so cool! So pretty and girly. Do you like this combination of colours? Don't forget to check out the other girls who are participating in today's theme! Thanks for reading! Have a great evening :)

China Glaze - Ride The Waves + Jordana - Copper Blaze Glitter

Hey guys, I was going to do a jelly sandwich with ride the waves because it is the most perfect and squishiest looking royal blue jelly i've seen, but when I added the glitter, I liked it so much the way it was, I left it. I always find myself struggling to decide on a final look for my nails but I stuck with my guns! I used 2 coats of China Glaze - Ride the waves, 1 coat of Jordana - Copper Blaze, a gorgeous copper glitter with large hex, small glitters, with a slight copper tinge to the solution, followed by 1 coat of Cult Nails - Wicked Fast.

I hope you like this combo! I love when opposite colours pop and really make your nails unique and interesting! Thanks for reading. Have a great day/night.

OPI - 007 James Bond Swatches

Hi guys!! Today I have a few colours from the 007 James Bond collection to show you, and so far, I am very impressed and blown away!

First up, On Her Majesty's Secret Service; the most interesting mix of shimmers and micro glitters ever! It has a deep navy/purple base with a combination of red, silver, green, gold, blue micro shimmers. It is such an intense and interesting colour. It does best in 2 coats.

Secondly, The Living Daylights; a clear base jam packed full of silver, blue and apricot coloured hex glitters. Very densely packed. I used 1 coat here to show what it looks like, but this would look amazing in a jelly sandwich or over black.

2 coats of OPI - Black Onyx with 1 coat of The Living Daylights
Thirdly, and finally Golden Eye; an amazinggggggggggg gold fleck. Simple as that, but super dense and super amazingly bright when on your nails! This is 2 coats.

I hope you've liked these swatches and hopefully other colour swatches appear soon for your viewing!! Have a nice day and thanks for reading :)

OPI - Deer Valley Spice

Hey lovelies how are you all? Yesterday I did my first set of "clients" for my boyf's mum's friend's hen's party  . . lol! It went really well and I did some awesome combos (glitter, shatter, gemstones) they were all impressed and it really made me feel good and make me want to get a certificate in nails even more!!

Today's colour is called Deer Valley Spice by OPI, a gorgeous cherry red with soft pink shimmer undertones. Such a lovely colour! I applied 1 coat of China Glaze - First & Last, 1 coat of DVS and 1 coat of Cult Nails - Wicked Fast. I've noticed such an improvement of the durability of my manicure when using Wicked Fast now! I'm in love and so much so that I bought another 3 bottles for back up!

I hope you love this colour as much as I do! Thanks for reading!

Jordana Jelly Sandwiches + Sneak Peak of 007 Collection

Hi guysssssssss! Today I have for you an experiment of jelly sandwiches. I bought a heap of Jordana glitters in a post you can read here. For this look today I used two colours; Celestial; an aqua packed glitter and Bronze Fest; as the name suggest, bronze glitter. I firstly started with 2 coats of OPI - Don't Touch My Tutu, the perfect sheer white jelly, followed by 1 coat of bronze fest on my ring finger and pinkie, and 1 coat of celestial on the other fingers, followed by 1 thin coat of OPI - DTMT. I don't think Celestial looks good as a jelly sandwich, or I might have to try with a different colour, like Ride the Waves or Guy Meets Gal-Veston. All finished off with 1 coat of Cult Nails - Wicked Fast.

Andddddddd i'm sure you've been waiting to see this. . . a sneak peak colour palette of the new 007 Collection, this is so much better to see what the colours look like in real life! I'm still really excited!

Thanks for reading lovelies! Have a great day :-)
