Zig Zag Glitter Nails!

Hi everyone! Today I am showing you the nails I wore last week that I absolutely LOVED! It was probably one of my favourite manicures i've done before and although it was time consuming, it was definitely worth it in the end! All colours used were; Mod About You, In My Back Pocket and My Favorite Ornament by OPI and Sunset On The Pier, Pebble Beach, Not A Cloud and Peppermint Cream by ELES Cosmetics and chevrons were free handed. I finished it all off with 1 coat of G&G top coat.

I hope you like this look! It was so fun and girly! Thanks for reading.

My First Lynderella!

Hi guys! I have a very quick post today! Sorry i've been absent for a few days - I went to Sydney for Easter and just spending time with family! Today I am showing a combo I did a few weeks ago using China Glaze - Dandy Lyin' Around (a very soft and feminine sheer pearl white) and Lynderella - Venus In Transit (a mix of blue-violet glitters with chartreuse and other blue accents as well as blue and pink shimmer in a clear base). I used 2 coats of each colour and finished it off with 1 coat of SV. I love this combo!

Illamasqua - Glamore Collection

Hey everyone! Today I have Illamasqua's latest collection called Glamore to show you today. This collection is so exciting for me because it combines my two loves; nail polish and lipsticks (bright ones at that too!). This collection contains 3 beautiful shattered star (textured) nail polishes and 2 beautifuly bright lipsticks. The nail polishes retail for $22.50 and the lipsticks retail for $25.00. Illamasqua products can be found in Myer nationally.

Marquise - I couldn't wait to show you this polish. If you follow me on instagram you may have seen this a few days ago. It is my favourite from the collection and has already made a spot in my top 10 favourite nail polishes of all time. It is a stunning crushed fiery topaz colour that dries to a textured finish. The swatch below shows 2 coat and 1 coat of Glisten & Glow topcoat. I absolutely adore this colour and cannot wait to wear it again!

Fire Rose - A very pretty rose pink glitter with larger rose pink glitters. I applied 2 coats here with 1 coat of G&G top coat.

Trilliant - Is a champagne-biege glitter that is super wearable on all skin types. It isn't too noticeable but gives your nails a healthy glow. I used 2 coats here and 1 coat of G&G topcoat.

Luster - A gorgeous bright candy pink satin lipstick. It is super creamy and highly pigmented. This is 1 easy coat.

Soaked - A vibrant orange satin lipstick with a super moisturising and hydrating formula. This is also very pigmented and applies very well. This is 1 coat.

So which products take your fancy? My obvious favourite is Marquise and is definitely worth checking out! Thanks a lot for reading and have a great Easter everyone!

Artsy Wednesday - Easter Nails!

Hi guys! Today's AW theme is Easter! I chose to do texture chicks! They're super cute and super easy to do and perfect for the easter holidays! Is anyone else having 10 days off? Woop! I used 2 coats of Barry M - Station Road and used acrylic paint for the shells, nose and eyes, followed by 1 coat of Glisten & Glow (my new fave top coat!)

Check out the other Artsy Wednesday participants in this week's theme here!

Current Favourites!

Hi guys! Today I have a post all about my current favourites, from nail polish to skincare, to hair care and make up! It's a mixture of things I've been using for over a month now and absolutely love them all! So here they are!

De Lorenzo Essential Treatments (et) - Absolute Deep Cleanser Shampoo, Protein Complex Treatment and Equilibrium Deep Repair Treatment (RRP $25.95, $28.95 and $28.95 respectively). I've been using these three products in conjunction with one another and it has definitely restored my hair to a healthy, shiny, bouncy mane! They contain organic rosehip oil (which I love!) and are all paraben free. The deep cleanser makes my hair feel so clean and fresh, the protein complex has definitely made my hair feel stronger and the deep repair treatment has made my hair feel softer than ever! Find these products at your nearist stockist or salon (which can be found here).

Vaseline Intensive Care Spray Moisturiser in Aloe Soothe (RRP$9.99 from Priceline) - I had to try this product. The one thing in life I cannot stand is when I apply moisturiser on my body and apply my clothes and it all just sticks and I feel so uncomfortable! Luckily this product does just as that advert shows - You can spray this on your body, rub it in, and literally 10 seconds later you have no residue left over and no grease either! I'm in love.

Dr.Hauschka Neem Nail Oil (RRP$47) - A big pump bottle of nail oil with Neem leaf extract to help strengthen keratin and fortifies nails against breakage. I've been using this religiously, before a manicure, right after a manicure, between swatches and on days I want more! It is such a great product and I can't stop using it! It has a lovely smell of chamomile and I have noticed my nails getting stronger for months since using this! Available for purchase online here.

I've raved about Benefit's Fake Up concealer before and it's back in my current favourite because I continue to use it every day and always have flawless results with it! Along with Fake Up, I've been adoring Erase Paste by Benefit too to tackle my under eye circles and any dark areas that need to be brightened up! Both super hydrating, natural looking and do not crease on me! (RRP$35 and $47, respectively). Benefit Cosmetics can be found in Myer.

My trusty and most favourite mascara in the whole world that gives me natural-but-better-and-free-from-clumps lashes! I cannot get enough of this Lush Mascara and ELES is quickly becoming one of my all time favourite beauty brands! (RRP $35.75). It is available to purchase online here. I also previously reviewed it on my blog here.

This nifty little MixStix by Chapstick is a really clever 2-in-1 product giving you two flavours to choose from, or to mix them up and make a smoothie! I love the flavour shown in particular, 1 side banana and 1 side strawberry. They taste so good together that I sometimes find myself licking my lips and having to reapply way too frequently! It moisturises for upto 8 hours! These retail for RRP $6.99 for a duo set (It came with another one with the flavour lemon berry sorbet) and can be found at Priceline and selected pharmacies nationally.

Formula 10.0.6 Rescue Me! Acne Blemish Treatment (RRP $7.99, available at Priceline). This product has been my saviour for so long now (including my trip to Europe) and I am so glad it has come into my life. It stops any pimple from becoming a big nasty puss filled spot (ew) and has actually helped reduce the appearance of my old blemishes! I can't live without this product and will continue to use it for as long as I keep getting pimples!

So there are my current favourites! I hope you liked this post and comment below which product you've tried or like to try next! Thanks for reading.

Blinc Cosmetics

Hi guys! Today I have a fun and exciting brand to show you called Blinc Cosmetics. I have been trying out 3 products from this brand; the Tube Mascara (RRP $35.95), the Eyebrow Mousse (RRP $35.95) and the Ultrathin Liquid Eyeliner Pen (RRP $35.95). Blinc cosmetics are available to purchase online at www.blincosmetics.com.au as well as selected spas and salons nationally. Here's a look at the products.

Eyebrow Mousse: I received this product in the shade black. It is a brow mousse that holds and sculpts like a gel, tints hair and fills in sparse areas with water-resistant colour. Once applied it does not fade, run or smudge - which I noticed after I got it on my skin and couldn't get it off! This mousse is really great at making you look done up with minimal effort. The only issue I encountered with this product was the wand. As it is identical to a mascara wand (almost as big too) it was difficult not to over apply product onto my brows. I found it really hard applying this product at the very begining of my brows because the tip of the wand was loaded with the product and it literally just painted my brow/skin (as you can see in photo 2 below). Other than a quick fix up with some make up remover, my brows stayed put ALL day!
Natural Eyebrow - No product applied.
Eyebrow Mousse Applied - Product Overload
Once I had finished cleaning up my Eyebrow area, with Eyebrow Mousse
Tube Mascara: This mascara is awesome. I received this product in the shade black. It didn't give me noticeably thick, dark lashes, but actually a subtle, soft look which I adore for everyday wear. It feels just like a regular mascara does and is light weight, the only difference is the removal method. Holy moly I didn't expect it! I thoroughly rinsed my lashes with water and used pressure on my eyelashes with my fingers to gently slide the tubes off. It is a really bizarre feeling and sight seeing these little black tubes on your fingers afterwards. It was actually quite rewarding trying to pull all the tubes off, and then trying to pull any leftovers, only to realise there are no "left overs" with this product. It doesn't linger on the lashes like regular mascara, it comes off in 1 entire gentle pull and it's so COOL!
Natural lashes - No Mascara
With Mascara
Ultrathin Liquid Eyeliner Pen: A very fine tip eyeliner pen in the shade black. As it is so fine it allows you to draw a very thin and precise wing to your eyelids. It did not fade, smudge or run even when I rubbed my eyes (accidentally forgetting I had make up on) and removes super easy too. I'm still trying to perfect my wing and with thin eyeliner pens on the market it is making it much easier to nail, thats for sure!

Here's a front photo of me with all these eye products on. It lasted all night long for my boyfriend's birthday dinner and didn't smudge or flake at all!

Make up shown: Blinc: Eyebrow Mousse, Tube Mascara, Ultrathin Eyeliner Pen, Essence: Lipliner in 10 Femme Fatale
Which product do you like the look of next? I highly recommend the tube mascara! Thanks for reading.

Geometric Crackle Nails

Hey guys! I have a quick NOTD to show you. I absolutely loved these crackle nails I did. It is really simple. I did 1 coat of OPI - Funny Bunny and used my white Barry M Nail Art Pen to randomly draw lines over my nails. I finished it off with 1 coat of SV. What do you think of these nails?

Biosculpture - Smokes & Mirrors Collection

Hey everyone! Today I have 3 of the 5 colours from the newest Biosculpture collection called Smokes & Mirrors to show you. This collection consists of 5 shimmery shades for a super glamorous day or night look. Biosculpture nail polishes retail for $19.95 and your nearest stockists can be found online at www.biosculpture.com.au. The formula on Biosculpture nail polishes are exceptional and are of very high quality. I love using their polishes and think this collection is unique and different! All swatches show 2 coats and no top coat.

169 The Rebel - A light metallic rose gold shimmer. This colour is so flattering on tan skin tones.

170 Metallic Sorcery - A rich bronze of dark copper with burnt metallic fragments. This was an interesting colour. It was inbetween a shimmer and a liquid sand - but the particles were too sparse to be considered a liquid sand I think. Nonetheless it is a gorgeous colour on the nails!

167 Seductive Lights - This swatch does not do this gorgeous Marilyn red justice. It is so juicy and vibrant looking that I felt like a million bucks wearing it. It is definitely a seductive red jelly colour with heaps of red glitters throughout.

Which colour is your favourite from these three? Make sure to check out website for all the other colours! Thanks for reading!
