OPI - Vampsterdam

Today's colour is from the Holland collection released earlier this year! It is a gorgeous deep coppery plum/aubergine which is almost a metallic! I applied 2 coats of Orly's bonder to avoid staining on my nails when I remove it. Then I applied 2 coats of Vampsterdam and it was such a breeze to apply! It did leave some brush strokes but this is to be expected with a metallic finish, nonetheless, it is still a beauty and a perfect winter colour!

Loving this colour heaps! Do you like this colour?

China Glaze - Strawberry Fields

Hi all! I had such a lovely day today! I relaxed and did a bit of shopping (no new nail polish purchases though.. except for a fast dry top coat for $3.95!) but I thought I'd pull out an oldie! Today I have China Glaze's Strawberry fields which is a really nice strawberry sheer pink with a delicate gold shimmer that is truly reminiscent of a strawberry in the sunlight! So much depth in colour :) I feel like strawberries now . . mmm!

Anyhoo..I applied 2 coats over Orly's bonder followed by Sally Hansen maximum growth fast try top coat (which is surprisingly good considering it was in the clearance bin and all the other polishes surrounding it looked really gunky and old lol)

Here's a couple of pics :-)

Oohh..Ahh! So pretty :) I love a good pink shimmer!

Just want to say a quick thank you to everybody who entered my 200 follower giveaway! Sorry you were unlucky but I LOVE having giveaways, it is really rewarding and I love how thankful everybody is, but I want to know what you guys think! Is having a giveaway every 50 followers a bit too frequent or should I have one every milestone? (500, 1000!?) I'd love to know what your thoughts are!

Thanks everybody for reading! :)

Ozotic - 515 HOLOGRAPHIC HEAVY

Happy Monday morning to you all! I know it means the beginning of another work week but I have a wonderful nail polish to show you, that may just make your morning :) I know this polish swatch is long over due, but better late than never! Ozotic 515 is such a beautiful ocean blue with seriously strong holographic pigments. This is the colour that i'm giving away in my giveaway (a new, unused one obviously) and it's going to make the owner very happy!

So i applied 3 coats to bare nails for full coverage. 2 was probably enough but i went for 3 coats just to make it an even coverage.

This colour is so much stronger in person and applied beautifully! Such a great colour. I love Ozotics

There is still time to enter my giveaway for a chance to win this colour!

Gradient Glitter Nails

Happy Sunday morning folks! This is a quick post before I go to work for the day! Last night I did a gorgeous gold glitter gradient! I used 1 thin coat of OPI's Passion, a very sheer, light pink, followed by 1 thick coat of China Glaze - blonde bombshell on the tips of my nails and then going over each nail again with a small amount of polish on the higher end of the nail. I then applied Milani's - jewel fx gold glitter to the tips and gradually adding a few glitters on the entire nail. I love this look! I've never tried a glitter gradient but i'm definitely going to try some more! And I love that I can still see my natural nail with this, it makes it look so feminine and chic :D

Check my photos out! (Please excuse my absolutely disgusting cuticles! I got top coat on them and they haven't completely come off yet! Looks so gross lol)

With the flash on
I hope you like this! It is very simple to do and makes your nails sparkle!

Thanks for reading and don't forget to enter my giveaway as it ends tomorrow!! :)

Orly - Glow Stick (Neon Collection 2012)

Happy Saturday morning everybody! It is FREEZING at the moment! I am very happy this morning because I ran 15km, which is only 5km away from my target for the marathon, woo hoo! Anyways lets focus on nails! Today's colour is glow stick, a super bright neon yellow, just like a yellow highlighter! Super super bright! It doesn't look like anything special indoors, but just go outside. . .and watch your nails light up! So cool :) I applied 4 coats, but probably should have used a white beneath it so it would reach opaqueness in less coats.

Here are some photos :)

My camera doesn't take neon colours well, just imagine these photos, 20x brighter!!!!!

Love the neon collection! That's all i've got for this collection so I hope you liked it :)

Don't forget to enter my giveaway here :) It closes on monday!

Orly - Melt Your Popsicle (Neon Collection 2012)

I have another colour from the Orly Neon Collection of 2012 and I am LOVING them so far! It is a week away from winter here in Australia, but having neon colours on my nails is so nice and makes me happy :) Today I have Melt Your Popsicle, a bright neon orange! I used 1 coat of ridge filler, 1 coat of Orly's Bonder, 2 coats of MYP and 1 coat of Orly's Sec-N-Dry :-) Not much else to be said except it's a gorgeous orange. If you love a good neon, you'd love this one!

I love these neon colours on my olive skin tone! Makes me look so much browner haha :)

Hope you all have a nice Friday (yay it's almost the weekend!)

Quite an early post today so I can focus on doing my exam question today (here goes another 6 hours! :( )
