Nail Polish Store Recommendations in Europe!?

Hi guys!! So the last month has been SUPER busy for me! Along with getting a new job, I've just finished moving into a new place and to top it off - I am going to Europe on Thursday for 4 weeks! I haven't had a chance to schedule any blog posts but I want to ask my European readers something...

Can you recommend places to buy European brand nail polishes in; Vienna, Prague, Amsterdam, Munich and London??

I'd really appreciate any comments!! Thanks so much guys and see you in 4 weeks!!

  1. I don't know about the other countries, but in Germany (Munich) you should definitely visit drugstores like "dm" and "Rossmann", where you can find german brands like Catrice, Essence, P2, Manhattan etc. (you should find the same brands in Vienna btw)
I'm not german, but if you need any adresses, I could google them for you.

  2. I only know about London and Amsterdam.
In London, there's Kiko (Westfield shopping centers and Regent st.) Also check out Gosh, Bourjois and other goodies at Superdrug and/or Boots drugstores (they are all over town).
In Amsterdam, Flormar has just opened a shop in Kalverstraat. Almost opposite them is a nice big Douglas perfumery store, with for instance Be-Yu. Kruidvat drugstores sell Essence and Catrice. There are big ones - with a bigger choice - in Reguliersbreestraat and Nieuwendijk (at either end of the Kalverstraat). And then of course there's the Hema. They have a special beauty shop in the Kalverstraat.
I'm sure you can get Kiko in Munich too, by the way.

In any case, I envy you :-) Have a wonderful trip!

  3. In the UK, the best place to buy polish is Boots or Superdrug. They are on most high streets and in most shopping centres - but the larger towns/shopping centres, the bigger the range. You can buy these UK polishes in one or both of them: Barry M, Miss Sporty (Superdrug), 2True (Superdrug), No. 7 (Boots), Seventeen (Boots), MUA (Superdrug), Rimmel, Model's Own (Boots), Collection 2000 (Superdrug), GOSH (Superdrug) (if that's from the UK??). And you can buy these international polishes: Revlon, L'Oreal, Max Factor, Essie (Boots), Bourjois, NYC (Superdrug), Sally Hansen, Nails Inc (Boots), Butter London (Boots), Mavala (Boots), Sinful Colors (Boots), Maybelline, Orly (Boots).

For George polishes, you need an Asda supermarket.

H&M polishes can be found in their shops in shopping centres and high streets.

If you can get to a Sally's (www.sallyexpress.co.uk) you can buy OPI, China Glaze, Morgan Taylor and Nina.

TKMaxx - usually in shopping centres or out of town locations - sell much reduced OPI, Leighton Denny.

Poundland - usually in shopping centres or high streets - sell Revlon, Collection 2000, Sally Hansen and sometimes others for £1.

    Have a great polish-hauling trip :)
