Artsy Wednesday - Indie Nails (FLOAM!)

Hello hello!! I'm very sorry for being slack with posts. . especially with my AW ones..but today I have one for you and the theme is Indie nails! My indie collection is extremely small. I only own 3. . and 2 of them I showed you a few days ago. . but my last one is a very special one that I received a while ago and only got around to using it now! The nail blogging world was taken a storm when floam hit the pages and for good reason. Floam is a clear base polish with matte blue/green and yellow glitters. For this look I started with 1 coat of Barielle - Ocean Breeze followed by 3 coats of Floam. Floam is a little thick to work with but not unbearable. It dries to a matte finish.

This is a very unique and gorgeous glitter and I hope you like it too! Don't forget to check out other indie nails by these lovely ladies!

Barielle - Ocean Breeze + Color Club - Holiday Splendour

Hi everyone! Today's look features Barielle - Ocean Breeze, an amazing off teal/aqua/blue pastel creme. It has an excellent formula, only needed 2 coats for smooth application. Color Club - Holiday Splendour is a sheer green jelly with emerald and silver holographic glitters, it is really beautiful! I used 1 coat on my ring fingers and just painted the tips on all of my other nails. I finished it all off with 1 coat of cult nails wicked fast.

This combo looked really gorgeous! The french tips were really spontaneous, but added a nice glint to my nails in the sun :) Thanks for reading!

Barielle - Mint Ice Cream + Ocean Breeze Nail Art

Hi guys! I can start blogging again. . yay! Today I am showing you two Barielle colours I purchased from trans-design (which arrived yesterday with a nice haul :)) The Barielle colours I bought are; Mint Ice Cream, a very light pastel mint green creme and Ocean Breeze; a lovely light grey-blue pastel creme. For this look I painted all my nails with 2 coats of Mint Ice Cream and applied Wicked Fast by Cult Nails over the top to seal it.Then on my ring finger i used some ordinary sticky tape to make a triangle on the top of my nail and painted on Ocean Breeze. I also used a green rhinestone at the tip of the triangle to add a little bit extra followed by another coat of Wicked Fast. This is the first time i've used Barielle. The brush on Mint Ice Cream was uneven and jagged and made application hard, whereas Ocean Breeze's brush was fine. The formula was quite thicker than i'm used to and I found it hard to apply. Other than that, the colours are brilliant and the polishes are pretty cheap to buy so i'm not too fussed. Here are some pics.

Thanks for reading and I hope you like this! What do you think of Barielle?
