Hey everyone! I hope you had a really nice weekend! My boyfriend and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary together at a beautiful one chef's hat restaurant! I was so spoilt with a gorgeous Micheal Kors handbag and i'm so in love with it! Anyway! Today I am showing you some nail art I did a few weeks ago. I did a simple gradient using all colours by Kester Black; Dragonfruit, Bougainvillea, Parrot and Laguna followed by 1 coat of G&G. Once dried I used my white Barry M Nail Art Pen to draw the lines. I stuffed up the pointer finger by doing the lines too thick but all in all I was really happy with these nails - they looked so striking in real life! What do you think of this nail art? Thanks for reading!

Artsy Wednesday - Designer Inspired (Proenza Schouler)
Enter my international giveaway to win 1 of 4 nail polish bundle packs!
Hello everyone! Today's Artsy Wednesday theme is Designer inspired! I chose a gorgeous clutch by the brand Proenza Schouler (one of the brands I always enviously stalk, but could never even afford to own one single piece of). It is a gorgeous multicoloured degrade leather clutch with stunning neon pink studs and a fastening clip at the front. I instantly fell in love with the colours on this piece!
I painted all my nails with OPI - Alpine Snow and applied 1 coat of SV over the top. The colours I used for the gradient from cuticle to free edge were; Lime Crime - Crema Di Lemon , OPI - Suzi's Hungary Again, Essie - DJ Play That Song and ELES - Purple Royale. I then applied 1 coat of SV to smooth the gradient out. Then I dotted all over the nails with OPI - Mod About You and 1 final coat of SV. I
seriously love this clutch and the nails I did! It's amazing how much
cool inspiration you can find these days! I hope you like these nails!
Here are some pictures!

Half Marathon Nails + Photos!
Enter my international giveaway to win 1 of 4 nail polish bundle packs!
Hello everyone! Sorry it's been a while since my last post! I've been busy preparing myself for the Gold Coast half marathon and now that it's finished I can show you the nails I was sporting and a few before and after shots at the marathon!! I really love running and feel so great when I do it and this being my 2nd half marathon I improved immensely (by 11 minutes to be exact) and I can't wait to do it again next year and do even better!
The nails I chose to wear were inspired by pshiiit. I love this look so so sooo much and knew I wanted to replicate it! It's so awesome and abstract and really unique! I did this nail art a different (and longer way to pshiiit, which I didn't realise until later was going to take me longer.. woops!) I painted all my nails with OPI - Alpine Snow* and used 1 coat of SV to quickly dry it. Then I sponged on a gradient using all Essie polishes (Naughty Nautical, Where's My Chauffer and Bikini So Teeny), then 1 coat of SV. I then applied tape down in a triangle and filled in the space with OPI - Alpine Snow* then topped it with 1 coat off SV. For the thumbs and accent nails I used Orly - Liquid Vinyl* and a thin striper brush to outline the triangles.

Happy Australia Day!
Hellow everyone! I'm so sorry about the absence. . I hope you are all still out there!! Today is Australia day, yay! We Australians love our day, we go to the beach, have a really big BBQ and listen to triple J's Hottest 100 countdown! To go with the day I wanted to do some festive nails! I did a simple green and gold gradient using China Glaze - I'm With The Life-Guard (neon yellow) and In The Lime-Light (neon green). I used a base of OPI - Alpine Snow to make the colours pop without the need of many gradient coats. I finished it all off with 1 coat of Wicked Fast.
I hope you all have a great Australia day and don't party too hard. . but then again, it's a long weekend so why not!? :-P Thanks for reading!Wednesday, December 12, 2012
Artsy Wednesday - Glitter Gradient
Hi loves! Sorry it's been a while, retail work is getting hectic, but anyway it's another AW and today's theme is Glitter Gradient! Once again, I picked a base colour from the new CG Cirque Du Soleil collection called Running In Circles (see post tomorrow) which is such an AMAZING green glass fleck colour..I am in absolute awe and am so glad I bought it! I used 2 coats of Running In Circles and I just did a glitter gradient on my ring finger using Jordana - Sequins.
Make sure to check out these girls who have taken part of this weeks Artsy Wednesday! I hope you like this combo and be sure to check out the post on CG - Running In Circles tomorrow, it is pure bliss!

Lime Crime Gradient
Hey lovelies! Sorry it's been so long since I last posted, i've been finishing off a big report due on Tuesday, but after that posts should be a bit more regular! Today's look was inspired by Cristina's gradient look featuring the lime crime polishes (check it out here). I didn't know which look to create, but I decided to do the blue and purple gradient. I started off with all nails painted with Milky Ways, followed by Once In A Blue Mousse and Lavendairy sponged on. It's soo pretty and i'm so happy with the results! Close up you can see imperfections, but from afar it looks really great! I topped it off with Wicked Fast, it really helps to blend in the sponging.
That's all from me today! Have a great weekend everyone!

Artsy Wednesday - Sponging
Hello again :-) Today's Artsy Wednesday theme is Sponging technique! I did try this two times, and stuck with my original shimmer sponging gradient instead of the sunrise gradient (which also looked cool but I need to perfect a bit more!) So for today I used an exisiting mani; OPI - Plugged In Plum which I had been wearing for 2 days now, so I decided to use OPI - It's My Year and OPI - DS Bronze (the name has fallen off the bottle and it's a fairly old DS colour..oops!) I sponged using an ordinary make up sponge and painting on It's My Year on the top and DS Bronze below and repeated sponging if necessary. It wasn't too bad, it looked much better in person!
Sorry about all the glitter on the sides of my nails, it was really hard to get off, even with acetone!
Don't forget to check out the other lovely ladies who participated in today's theme! I bet there will be some really awesome ones!!
Thanks for reading and have a great day/night! :)

Gradient Glitter Nails
Happy Sunday morning folks! This is a quick post before I go to work for the day! Last night I did a gorgeous gold glitter gradient! I used 1 thin coat of OPI's Passion, a very sheer, light pink, followed by 1 thick coat of China Glaze - blonde bombshell on the tips of my nails and then going over each nail again with a small amount of polish on the higher end of the nail. I then applied Milani's - jewel fx gold glitter to the tips and gradually adding a few glitters on the entire nail. I love this look! I've never tried a glitter gradient but i'm definitely going to try some more! And I love that I can still see my natural nail with this, it makes it look so feminine and chic :D
Check my photos out! (Please excuse my absolutely disgusting cuticles! I got top coat on them and they haven't completely come off yet! Looks so gross lol)
I hope you like this! It is very simple to do and makes your nails sparkle!
