Clinique Pop Matte Lip Colour + Primer - 15 Shock Pop

MAC Velvetease Lip Pencil - Lover's Lane

Hi everyone! I hope you are all well. Today I thought I'd share with you all this gorgeous Velvetease Lip Pencil by MAC in the shade called Lover's Lane; a bright medium-dark orange with red undertones. I've been wanting to find a NARS lip crayon alternative and I think i've found one! This pencil has a super creamy formula that applies like a dream and dries to a slightly matte finish. I wore this for 4 hours and it lasted really well and hardly any lipstick transferred at all! Velvetease Lip Pencils retail for £17.50 and are available online here. I can't wait to try more shades!

MAC - Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour Swatches

Hi guys! It's been a while. I must find the motivation to blog more often but I'm just so tired when coming home from work. I have lots of new goodies to review for you though but today I am showing you the brand new Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolours by MAC. There are tons of shades but I only have 2 (so far). The two colours I'll be showing you are Too Matte With Love; a beautiful bright raspberry and Rich & Restless; A midtone pinky salmon. The formula on these are really good. They're easy to apply, completely opaque (although some of the darker shades look like they need a bit of playing around with application) and dry to a  completely matte finish. In terms of longevity, they don't last as well as Velvetines (only matte liquid lipsticks I've tried so far). After about 4-5 hours they start feathering from the inner lip area. Overall this is a super exciting product from MAC and I'm glad they finally released their take on the liquid lipstick. Estee Lauder Pure Colour Matte Envy - Furious (LE)

Hi guys!! Hope you are having a great week so far! Today I am sharing a new and Limited Edition Pure Colour Matte Envy shade by Estee Lauder to show you called Furious; an absolutely stunning medium coral-orange matte. I was really drawn to this colour everytime I walked past the Estee Lauder counter in Myer and knew I had to have it! It applies effortlessly, is super smooth and creamy and not drying at all. It is actually quite a neon colour against my olive skintone which I love! I applied 1 coat all over the lips. Pure Colour Envy Matte retails for $50 and is available from Myer and David Jones nationally, but be quick as this colour is limited!

ELES Cosmetics - Masquerade Nail Polish Collection

Hello everyone! Today I'm really excited to show you an Australian brand called ELES Cosmetics (check out their website here) and they are a mineral make up line with healthy skin formulas and all their nail polishes are 3-Free!. They have just released a new nail collection called Masquerade and it consists of 12 colours* inspired by costumed-carnivals and masquerade balls..love it! Each ELES polish is $20 and can be found in selected beauty salons and day spas nationally. So to avoid repeating myself each colour had the same formula and I found them all very easy to use with no problems whatsoever. Each swatch has 2 coats with no top coat.

Vivaldi Blue - A stunning aqua blue creme with silver shimmer. This was a little streaky.

Baroque Bronze - A metallic bronze with a lit within look. This was also a bit streaky. 

Carnivale Copper - This was slightly more orange-toned than copper IRL, like a burnt orange colour.

 Casanova Red - A classic tomato red creme.

Colombina Gold - A shimmery nude gold, looked gorgeous on my skin tone.

Fuchsia Fontana - A really pretty fuchsia duochrome with magenta and purple shimmers.

 

Nude Contessa - A light nude cream. Reminds me of Milky Ways by Lime Crime.

Othello Orange - A super bright neon orange. dries to a matte finish.

 

Phantom Black - A black matte. I was very surprised and delighted to see this one dry matte! YAY!

Purple Royale - A very vibrant grape purple colour. This one was very hard to photograph but this is the truest colour (sorry about the yellow skin colour!)

Tintoretto Teal - A dark forest teal green creme.

Veronese Orchid - A dusky pale lavender creme.

My favourites from this collection was definitely phantom black, vivaldi blue, purple royale and colombia gold! Overall I really like this collection and feel it does represent a masquerade theme very well! There are some colours I have seen many times before but also some that were very unique and gorgeous! Contrast French Tips Using OPI & Zoya

Hello again!! Today's look features *OPI - Eurso Euro (shown here) and Zoya - Phoebe (shown here). I decided to do contrasting french tips and I love the end results! I painted my nails with Zoya - Phoebe and waited for it to completely dry then I used some striping tape to outline the shape of my tips and painted it with *OPI - Eurso Euro. I finished it off by adding Wicked Fast to the tips only.

This look only lasted a few days. . . I had a bit of chipping on the tips quite quickly but I really liked the look while it lasted! What do you think of this? I love using striping tape for crisp, neat lines! Thanks for reading and see you all soon!!

Zoya - Phoebe

Hello! Today's post is Zoya - Phoebe a gorgeous shimmering sky blue polish that dries matte. It is a little tough to work with so you have to move fast when applying it otherwise you will have bald spots. I did 3 thin coats in the photos, with no top coat.
