Happy Australia Day!

Hellow everyone! I'm so sorry about the absence. . I hope you are all still out there!! Today is Australia day, yay! We Australians love our day, we go to the beach, have a really big BBQ and listen to triple J's Hottest 100 countdown! To go with the day I wanted to do some festive nails! I did a simple green and gold gradient using China Glaze - I'm With The Life-Guard (neon yellow) and In The Lime-Light (neon green). I used a base of OPI - Alpine Snow to make the colours pop without the need of many gradient coats. I finished it all off with 1 coat of Wicked Fast.

I hope you all have a great Australia day and don't party too hard. . but then again, it's a long weekend so why not!? :-P Thanks for reading!

Red Earth Make Up - Rediscover The Brand + Their Best Sellers!

Hi guys! Today I have a really exciting post! Red Earth is an Australian make up brand that I loved when I was younger. Their beautiful selection of eye shadow pigments in their silver balls started my love for things beauty. Recently they have re-branded themselves with a whole new collection in line! Today I have a few of their best sellers to show you and I am so excited to share these with you!

Red Earth – Skin Perfection All-In-One Concealer Kit: RRP $24 in the colour 02 - Sand*.
This sleek concealing kit gives a great description on how to conceal different areas of your face and which colours to mix for the perfect coverage. Gives an extensive description on how to cover dark circles, pimples, bruises and freckles. Each colour gave very high coverage and all were creamy. There is a mirror inside and it includes 3 applicator tools. The concealer spatula is to remove concealer from the palette, the flat concealer brush is for blending under the eyes, nose and chin and the tapered concealer brush is for precise spots such as blemishes and freckles.

Going Down: Reduce, Hide, Cover, Brighten, Creamy Concealer
Red Earth - Secret Potion Illuminating Skin Fluid: RRP $32 in the colour 01 - Pearl*. This secret potion skin fluid is a multi-purpose illuminator with pink light reflecting particles that gives the skin a very flattering finish. This little gem smells so good! If you have ever smelt Guerlain's Meteorite Perles it smells just like it! It's hard to explain but so lovely and a bit like candy. This leaves a very lovely sparkle and glow to the skin and leaves a moisturised and soften feel. It can be used as a highlighter, mixed in with foundation, over shoulders and decolletage and also on legs as a moisturiser with a hint of shimmer.

Red Earth – Illusion Lights Beauty Pro Eye-shadow: RRP $12 in the colour 20 - Stormy Night*.
This eye shadow is a gorgeous deep navy blue with blue light reflecting minerals. It is very pigmented and has a slight gunmetal finish to it. I have yet to test the wear on this colour but will do a look with it soon.

Red Earth – Pure Colour Hydra Luxe Lipstick: RRP $18 in the colour 02 - Jubilee (Sheer)*.
This lipstick is a lovely watermelon pink with very subtle orange micro glitters. It is super moisturising and smells like vanilla. Gives my natural lip colour a nice flush.

Red Earth – Lip Passion Premium Plumping Lip Gloss: RRP $16 in the colour 01 – Blush*.
This is a gorgeous light pink, blush lip gloss with sparkly micro glitter. It is not sticky and has no scent which was nice as I hate sticky lip glosses!

And here are some photos of the lip gloss Blush over the lipstick Jubilee:

So what do you all think? Are you excited as I am!? I absolutely loved Red Earth years ago and now that I have a better appreciation for make up and beauty I love it even more! Their new re-branding is exciting, fresh and I can't wait to try more. Let me know what you think in the comments below! Thanks for reading and have a great day.

OPI - Alpine Snow MATTE + Models Own - Indian Ocean

Hi guys!! I hope you are all well and happy! Today I have a bit of a layering to show you! I was feeling a little uninspired so grabbed my OPI - Alpine Snow MATTE and applied 2 coats. It is a very old bottle so i'm sure the formula has changed, but it is quite difficult to apply! You must be quick otherwise there will be bald spots! Eww. Then I applied 1 coat of Models Own - Indian Ocean, a gorgeous irridescent sheer blue/pink colour that is a match made in heaven when layered over certain colours (check out my post here with it over a dark colour). I finished it all off with 1 coat of Wicked Fast.

Isn't this such a lovely and mesmerising combination? Makes me feel like i'm somewhere soft, cuddly and breezy! lol. Do you have a favourite colour combo? Let me know below! Thanks for reading!

Stargazer Lipstick - 106 Neon Red

Hello everyone! Today I have something a bit different from nail polish. Today I will be showing you the Stargazer Neon Red lipstick! I bought mine on ebay for about $8.50! Super cheap. It is quite creamy and very highly pigmented. No need for blotting and reapplying that's for sure. As the name suggests it is a neon red but it looks more like a neon orange on my lips. It does not dry to a matte finish, but is nice and creamy and shiny.

I really like this colour and think it looks great against my tan skin. Do you own any bright neon lipsticks? Have a good day and thanks for reading!

Artsy Wednesday - Indie Nails (FLOAM!)

Hello hello!! I'm very sorry for being slack with posts. . especially with my AW ones..but today I have one for you and the theme is Indie nails! My indie collection is extremely small. I only own 3. . and 2 of them I showed you a few days ago. . but my last one is a very special one that I received a while ago and only got around to using it now! The nail blogging world was taken a storm when floam hit the pages and for good reason. Floam is a clear base polish with matte blue/green and yellow glitters. For this look I started with 1 coat of Barielle - Ocean Breeze followed by 3 coats of Floam. Floam is a little thick to work with but not unbearable. It dries to a matte finish.

This is a very unique and gorgeous glitter and I hope you like it too! Don't forget to check out other indie nails by these lovely ladies!

Michelle - Lab Muffin
Tif - Polished Genius
