Barielle - Mint Ice Cream + Ocean Breeze Nail Art

Hi guys! I can start blogging again. . yay! Today I am showing you two Barielle colours I purchased from trans-design (which arrived yesterday with a nice haul :)) The Barielle colours I bought are; Mint Ice Cream, a very light pastel mint green creme and Ocean Breeze; a lovely light grey-blue pastel creme. For this look I painted all my nails with 2 coats of Mint Ice Cream and applied Wicked Fast by Cult Nails over the top to seal it.Then on my ring finger i used some ordinary sticky tape to make a triangle on the top of my nail and painted on Ocean Breeze. I also used a green rhinestone at the tip of the triangle to add a little bit extra followed by another coat of Wicked Fast. This is the first time i've used Barielle. The brush on Mint Ice Cream was uneven and jagged and made application hard, whereas Ocean Breeze's brush was fine. The formula was quite thicker than i'm used to and I found it hard to apply. Other than that, the colours are brilliant and the polishes are pretty cheap to buy so i'm not too fussed. Here are some pics.

Thanks for reading and I hope you like this! What do you think of Barielle?

  2. Oh I love this mint green and what you did to it, it's a gorgeous mani! I don't yet own any Barielle's, but I look forward to in the future :)

  3. Hi Mel,

Really loving that Ocean Breeze colour! You can tell the nail polish is of a thick consistency but I think that's what makes your finish look so smooth! Your nail design is really pretty, I can't wait to finish work and try it myself :)

I was wondering if I could maybe get some help? I’m working on an 'out and about' atm, and a part of the app will have bloggers recommending 5-10 places in their city to check out for all sorts of things from shopping to eating to getting your nails done, I was wondering if you might recommend maybe a few places you love? I will put links to your blog on the app and drive more traffic your way. We have over 3,000 people signed up to download the app already and it hasn't even launched yet (we're super excited!) Mel, if you're happy to be a part of it all just pop on here – https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dG93enNmdHRPOTVuUWVqOFJMUElibnc6MQ or you can email me on jenny@heylets.com

  4. Hi Jenny that sounds like a great idea. I'll have a look, although I don't get my nails done at a store (I do it all myself lol) but I eat out at lots of restaurants so I'll see how I go! :) If you want any more help of need to discuss anything else please just email me at mgiandzi@hotmail.com
