Estee Lauder - Double Wear Stay-In-Place High Cover Concealer

Phew, what a name this concealer is! This new Double Wear Stay-In-Place High Cover Concealer* by Estee Lauder is a full coverage, concentrated, yet lightweight creamy concealer featuring a built-in setting powder. Not to mention it is SPF 30+, bonus! It immediately conceals dark circles and evens out skin tone, helps hide scars, camouflages blemishes and is super long lasting. I tested this concealer over a whole weekend and it definitely performs as the claims say. I have a few pimple scars and blemishes and this covered them up completely. I also used some under the eye area and noticed no creasing thanks to the in- built setting powder. This product is really cool and it also did not run when I went for a swim in the ocean! I absolutely love the packaging; sleek, compact and versatile with the mirror lid. This product goes a long way with a small amount so be light handed when you use it! It retails for $33.00 and will be available from the 13th of October and can be found at MYER, DJ's, selected pharmacies and online at www.esteelauder.com.au.

Trophy Wife Nail Art Inspired Nails

Hi guys!! A few days ago on instagram I saw such a cool looking nail art design by the super talented Trophy Wife Nail Art and knew I wanted to replicate it right away! It is definitely a random skittle manicure with each nail being different. I'm really pleased with the results and managed to do both hands quite well. I loved this mani so much! All were free handed using the polish brush and a small nail art brush. I finished the look off with 1 coat of SV.

Colours used: OPI - Alpine Snow (White), Revlon - Metallic (Silver), OPI - In My Back Pocket (Orange), Essie - Set In Stones (silver glitter), Nails Inc - Baker Street (Royal blue), Essie - DJ Play That Song (purple), Essie - Go Overboard (dark green), Orly - Black Vinyl (black), OPI - What's With The Cattitude (light blue),

Curtis Collection by Victoria

Hello everyone! Today I have a few products from the new makeup range called Curtis Collection by Victoria to show you (check out the website here). Curtis Collection is an Australian owned boutique make up brand offering prestige and mineral make up selections. Today I will be showing you the Matte Bronzer Bronze Goddess*, the Glam Lipstick* (in the shade Pure Passion), the Luxe Liner* (in the shade Jet Black), Luxury Mineral Lip Mousse* (in the shade Toffee) and the Baked Blush* from the Goddess Collection (in the shade Show Stopper). Curtis Collection can be found online and at selected salons.

Matte Bronzer in Bronze Goddess* (RRP $49.50) - A super gorgeous matte bronzer that gives a really nice glow look. It is a beautiful compact the way the baked bronze swirls and intertwines. It reminds me of a Mac MSF. I love that it's matte and although it is quite sheer is it very easy to build colour.

Baked Blush in Show Stopper* (RRP $35.00) - A really pretty red toned pink that is super pigmented. This pink gives a nice flush of colour on the cheeks. You'll have to be light handed as this is quite opaque and can make you look slightly sunburnt if applied incorrectly! This suits my skin tone and would be very compatible with all skin tones.

Glam Lipstick in shade Pure Passion* (RRP $30.00) A really silky and hydrating lipstick filled with antioxidants that deliver long lasting wear. I was quite surprised when I saw that it was a metallic hue. Pure Passion is a medium brown bronze lipstick that gives your lips a slightly frosted and glittery look to them. I'm not the biggest fan of the metallic hue in this lipstick. I feel they look cheap and tacky, which is a shame as the formula on this is brilliant.

Luxury Mineral Lip Mousse in shade Toffee* (RRP $30.00). This is an interesting product. It's not a gloss, it's not a lipstick, it's somewhere in between but with a thick consistency much like a mousse. The formula and application on this was super effortless and very creamy. The colour toffee is literally like a gold copper metallic with so much shimmer in it. This colour I found to be strange for the lips, but I'd love to see how it goes on my eyelids as a shadow!

Luxe Liner in Jet Black* (RRP $35.00) is an awesome felt tip liquid eyeliner and super easy to make precise lines. It's spot on for the L'Oreal one I reviewed a few days ago and I love using liquid eyeliner in this way. This lasts pretty well but removes very easily with water.

I have to work on my eyeliner and trying to get that perfect line but I'm getting there! These products are very high quality and easy to use. I love the lipsticks as they are super hydrating with a really flattering colour for my skin tone also. Thanks for reading!

Mariah Carey Holiday Collection by OPI

Hi guys!! Today I have 11 colours from the new Mariah Carey Holiday Collection by OPI to show you! This collection consists of 18 shades in total. 7 cremes, 1 sheer/duochrome, 4 glitters and 6 liquid sands! This collection definitely stands out for me with all the glitters and liquid sands! Here's a promo pic of all the colours!

All I Want For Christmas (is OPI), All sparkly and Gold, Cute Little Vixen, In My Santa Suit, I Snow You Love Me, My Favorite Ornament, Ski Slope Sweetie, Sleigh Ride for Two, Underneath the Mistletoe, Visions of Love, Make Him Mine (LS), Silent Stars Go By (LS)

Warm Me Up, Wonderous Star, It’s Frosty Outside (LS), Baby Please Come Home (LS), Emotions(LS), Kiss Me At Midnight (LS).
Today I will be showing you 11 colours so let's get started!

All I want For Christmas (Is OPI)* - A classic deep fire engine red creme. Perfect formula only needing 1 coat!

Snow You Love Me* - A stunning clear formula with large circular holographic glitters - they shine like crazy and sit flat on the nail (win!) This was super easy to apply and you don't have to dish out glitters. This is one of my all time favourite glitters now! It is so effective and striking! This is 1 coat over All I Want For Christmas (Is OPI).

Ski Slope Sweetie* - A really unique sheer looking sparkly duochrome topper. In the bottle the colour behind the pearlescent white shifts between yellow and blue. This is a really cool colour but the formula was a bit thick and sticky. Also it is opaque enough on its own. This is 2 coats.

Ski Slope Sweetie* over All I Want For Christmas (Is OPI)* - I tried layering 1 coat of Ski Slope Sweetie over the red to see if would have any effect on it. It does give an interesting look but I feel that Ski Slope Sweetie is too thick and opaque to layer. It completely covers the base colour. It might look different over black though.

My Favorite Ornament* - A super dense gold glitter with light reflecting gold pigments that give you that "lit from within" look. I love it and have been looking for a colour like this for so long. It reminds me of China Glaze - I'm Not Lion sort of and i've wanted that colour for ages. This is 2 coats and applied very easily.

All Sparkly And Gold* - A super stunning dark gold and light gold glitter. This one is amazing. I've also been looking for a glitter like this for so long and this ticks all the right boxes for me! Stunning! The formula is perfect and applied effortlessly in 2 coats.

Baby Please Come Home* (LS) - A mauve/dusty rose liquid sand. It contains bigger glitters that sparkle like crazy. This is really pretty and applied easily in 2 coats.

It's Frosty Outside* (LS) - A super gorgeous and bright silver liquid sand. This is sooo pretty and I love the way it looks! This was 2 coats and formula was brilliant. This one also dried much quicker than the Bond Girls liquid sands I had previously tried.

Kiss Me At Midnight* - A vibrant dusty blue liquid sand with silver glitter. This applied very easily in 2 coats. It's a really pretty liquid sand and is very sparkly!

Make Him Mine* (LS) - A rose coloured tan glitter with silver glitters. This applied perfectly in 1 coat.

Silent Stars Go By* (LS) - A slightly lighter tan colour with silver glitters. This one is very similar to Make Him Mine but it is a tad lighter. This was 2 coats.

Emotions* (LS) - This is the first "creme" liquid sand i've tried and i'm not for it sorry to say! This one to me just looked like I had watered down some dirt and carefully placed it meticulously on my nails lol. The pinky and ringer finger show 2 coats and the middle and pointer finger show 1 coat. Not impressed with this but that's okay because there are so many gorgeous liquid sands to pick from nowadays.

So what do you think of these colours from the new collection? I'm absolutely in awe and love them all (minus Emotions) and I can't wait to wear them like crazy over Christmas time! Woo hoo! If I had to pick my 2 most favourite colours I would pick Snow You Love Me and All Sparkly And Gold! Let me know which one you like the most! Thanks for reading.

Sanctuary Spa Hot Sugar Scrub

My love for Sanctuary Spa is only getting stronger and stronger the more products I try. The next product I've tried from them is the Hot Sugar Scrub* from the Daily Spa Escape Body Range. It is a thick clay-like scrub with a unique blend of organic sugar, thermal zeolite and detoxifying Kaolin Clay (bingo!). It is a self heating scrub that works to gently warm, invigorate and purify the skin deep down. . .not to mention exfoliates dead skin cells seriously well! It retails for $19.99 and can be found at Priceline pharmacies. I really love this scrub and it is perfect coming into the warmer seasons when I start waxing more often (yes I get lazy in winter, don't judge me!) and need to refresh my skin. The smell of this product is pleasant, it has a subtle zesty lemon smell to it along with a clay smell. The pot is really big and should last a few months as you only need a 50 cent sized amount!

Mmmm sugar

Now i'm off to go explore their other products! See you next time!

Artsy Wednesday - Green

Hey guys!! Todays' AW theme is GREEN! I love green so was excited to think of a mani to do when I came across this awesome water marble technique by Spektor's Nails here. The colours I used were  2 coats of Orly - Pointe Blanche* and a few drips of Ozotic - 120 (reviewed here) followed by 1 coat of SV. I know this mani doesn't look like it's green, but because Ozotic 120 was thinned out by so much white polish it turned a really pretty dark ocean blue with subtle green shimmers in the thicker areas. This technique is really easy to do but a tad messy to make sure to tape up around the cuticles to save time and product!

Check out these awesome girls and their mani for this week's AW!

Michelle - Lab Muffin
Maria - Marias Nail Polish Blog
Jessica - Beauty Gnome
Emily - An Accent Nail
Catrine - Unnakednails
Ameerah - Valiantly Varnished
Haylee & Anna - Makeup and Masala
Rose -  Every Little Polish
